Transboundary haze pollution remains a major challenge in Southeast Asia, driven by land use pressures and unsustainable land-use practices. In response, ASEAN Member States have adopted the Second Roadmap on Haze Pollution Control and the Second ASEAN Peatland Management Strategy (2023–2030). To support their implementation, CIFOR-ICRAF, in partnership with the ASEAN Secretariat under the MAHFSA Programme, hosted a policy dialogue focused on resource mobilization and financing mechanisms for sustainable land management. This event brought together stakeholders for interactive discussions on investment strategies, community engagement, and cross-sectoral collaboration for haze-free, sustainable landscapes.
