Abigael Jepkosgei Beles is a data support officer at CIFOR-ICRAF, working under the Trees and Forest Genetic Resources, and Biodiversity theme. She supports data life-cycle management, contributing to the development of food tree portfolios – context-specific tools that profile ecologically and socially appropriate native and exotic food tree species. These portfolios help guide local communitiesin adopting tree species that enhance ecosystem services, improve livelihoods, and support better nutritional outcomes.
