Science needs clear communication channels to cut through the noise, if research is to have any impact. CIFOR-ICRAF is as passionate about sharing our knowledge as we are in generating it.
CIFOR-ICRAF harnesses the power of trees, forests, and agroforestry landscapes to address today’s most urgent global challenges—biodiversity loss, climate change, food insecurity, rural poverty, and social inequity. Formed from the merger of the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and World Agroforestry (ICRAF), the organization brings over 70 years of combined expertise and operates in 64 countries. Through science-based, demand-driven research and partnerships, CIFOR-ICRAF delivers actionable solutions that revitalize landscapes and livelihoods. Their global initiatives, including the Global Landscapes Forum and Resilient Landscapes, bridge science, policy, and finance to scale nature-based solutions for a more equitable and sustainable future.
